I can’t believe I only recently came across this. What a great example of the personal touch from a customer services manager at Sainsbury’s.

Primark - Selfridges, Trafford Centre
When I first read that Primark was opening two concessions in Selfridges (Bullring and Trafford Centre) I was not convinced. However, having seen it in store today my view has shifted a little.
Granted, it doesn’t quite deliver the ‘thrill of the chase’ shopping experience of a typical Primark and to understand whether it can make a sustainable profit would require further analysis, but it looks great and doesn’t feel out of place at all.
Booths - Media City (Salford Quays)
Booths, the Lancashire-based family-owned food retailer, has just opened its 27th store next to the BBC’s new northern home at MediaCityUK in Salford (if you’re not familier with Booths’ business I suggest you read this article by @dresserman Booths – Waitrose of the North?).
Booths is a great business and this store gets top marks. Strong product and store environment, supported with excellent customer service. I’m sure this store will do well and hope to see more urban store openings in this format.
